Welcome to Hacienda Los Molinos!

When my father, Ricauter Saval, bought his property just outside the town of Boquete in the early years of the last century, I doubt he ever thought this little town would someday be a world famous destination. He bought this land for its fertile soil, to support his cattle and raise his family. Undoubtedly, the views of the Pacific to the south enriched long days of working on the ranch, and the sight of the sun setting over Volcan Baru to the north, comforted and rejuvenated him in the evenings as he relaxed with his family.

I have many happy memories of life in this beautiful place. In fact, I was married in the old farmhouse where one of my sons now lives with his family. We took our children to explore the many wonders
of our ranch; they learned to appreciate and respect wildlife because of the many creatures that inhabit the Canyon. They learned to swim in the crisp, clean waters of the Rio Cochea. And, from celebrations held over the years, shared with family and friends, they learned the importance of good relationships based on trust and love.

Times have changed and although cattle ranching is still important to our family, we have decided that we would like to share the beauty of our land with others. I invite you to visit, to explore, and to enjoy our residential project, Hacienda Los Molinos. I hope that you have as many happy times and experiences here as we have had over the years.
